More and more today we see blasphemy of the Name of God and people mocking Jesus, our Messiah and persecuting His followers. This verse serves as a reminder that one day, every knee will bow in the presence of the Lord, even those who embrace evil. Anyone that could not see Him through His creation, will see Him with their eyes and feel His presence with their soul, and will tremble. Then we will all face the great throne of judgement.
But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. - Romans 2:21-26 (KJV)
In summary, we must be righteous to be granted eternal life in Heaven. According to the scriptures written by Paul, by accepting Jesus Christ as Saviour and Redeemer, He becomes our righteousness. Belief in Jesus, is the propitiation for our sin. We are freely justified by our belief in Jesus!
Of course, it's not just words. If you truly believe that God created the world you live in and and everything in it - the land, the sea, the rain, the sunshine, your eyes, your ears, your body, the food you eat, the family you rely on and so much more, then surely you would love Him. And if you further believe that He sent Jesus Christ to redeem us and give us eternal life, surely you would love Him too. That being said, it is important to read the Word (Scriptures/Bible) to learn more about our Creator/Father and Redeemer/Messiah, who is quoted in the gospel as saying "If you love me, you'll obey me". - John 14:15.
Parents expect their children's love and respect as well as their obedience. It is essential for their safety and well-being until they have reached an age where they can understand better. Children who love their parents do not want to hurt or disappoint them, and they have a healthy fear of doing so, which helps keep them out of trouble. Children who resent their parents' counsel and rebel against their rules, cause a multitude of problems and rob a home of the joy and peace every home should be filled with.
God's word is centered around love. His commandments were created to encourage peace and harmony in the world. He requires us to love people; to love everyone - even those who don't love us. He teaches that we are to consider the needs of others, before we consider our own needs. If everyone lived by these rules, there would be far less hatred and anger in the world. Hatred and anger result in crime and crime results in fear. God's plan for us was not that we live in fear. Satan, the adversary wants us to live in fear. He wants to rob us of our joy.
Even Satan believes and trembles at the word, knowing it is He who will cast him into the bottomless pit when the time has come. Why? Because Satan refused to submit to the will of God. He disobeyed and rebelled, being cast out of God's Kingdom forever along with a third of the angels of Heaven. They have been loosed for a time, but their day is coming and eternal damnation awaits them.
You are the last person Satan wants to see ascending to Heaven while he's stuck in the fiery pit of flames for eternity, powerless and tormented by all the tortured souls he misled. While he still can, ee will do whatever he can to keep you from gaining access to Heaven. Satan doesn't care what you believe, as long as you don't believe in and call on Jesus. Pray for the rebellious spirit to depart from you, by the power of Jesus Christ. Confess your sins to God, our Heavenly Father, with your mouth and ask for forgiveness in the Name of Jesus Christ, Yahshua Messiah. Ask for help overcoming your sins. Invite the Holy Spirit to dwell in your heart. We will never be perfect, but we can be redeemed. What a mighty, loving, and amazing God we serve, Yahweh, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jesus Christ (Yahshua Messiah). Hallelujah!
