According to Pew Research Center's study on "The Changing Global Religious Landscape", in 2015, about 2.3 billion people were identified as Christians (Catholic, Protestant and Eastern Orthodox), making up about 31.2% of the world population. As of 2020, the estimate was about 2.38 billion or about 1/3 of the population. [Source]🕊️
In America, a country founded upon Christian principles, prayer has been removed from school, the Ten Commandments are being removed from government buildings. Laws that are contrary to God's law, such as abortion and same sex marriage, are being passed. Lawlessness, injustice, and corruption go unpunished by a government entrusted to uphold God's law for the mutual benefit of all.
As we progress into the Great Tribulation, more people will fall away, cursing God (Rev 16:21), but others who formerly had not believed, will begin to see and believe as more of these ancient prophecies are fulfilled, proving God's existance, omniscience, and truth. (John 14:29)
